We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join the Acero Precision Human Resources Team! In this position:

  • You assist our Human Resources Manager in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, health & safety, policy and procedures, compliance, and reporting
  • You demonstrate close attention to detail, you are an expert multi-tasker, and you champion your organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Are great with people, able to partner with employees at all levels to solve problems and are sensitive to the confidential nature of your work.
  • Are a dedicated worker, you are willing to do whatever it takes to initiate and complete HR administrative tasks, establishing clear priorities and meeting your deadlines

Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Employee Relations:

  • Work with all staff and management members to ensure that all employees are treated in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Maintain training records
  • Ensure compliance with all human resource related laws, regulations and executive orders.

Database Management:

  • Manage administrative responsibilities for the Human Resources Team including scanning, filing, faxing
  • Administer tasks within the organization’s Human Resources Information System/Ultipro database

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Assist to promote and represent Acero to potential candidates
  • Assist to coordinate and participate in career fairs and offsite candidate venues
  • Assist with onboarding orientation

Experience and Skills:

Experience and Skills:

  • Associate degree or equivalent with minimum of five (5) years of HR Specialist experience.
  • Strong commitment to detail and error-free performance
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must have a solid understanding and working knowledge of all mandated and optional benefit programs including health care, insurance, 401k, FSA, paid benefit time, FMLA, WC, STD/LTD, Cobra, and unemployment.
  • Advanced experience utilizing HR onboarding and timekeeping/payroll systems.
  • Advanced experience with applicant tracking systems (HRIS) preferably Ultipro
  • Extremely intuitive with problem solving and resolutions
  • Ability to multi task
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal skills

Desired

  • Certifications or specialized training in Personnel Management
  • Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment
