Currently, we are seeking a Construction Project Manager to coordinate all site construction activities and supervise all field personnel as required to successfully complete a best in class 80,000 square foot motorsport, industrial, analytical and medical implant manufacturing facility. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. Job Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for Bidding Architect’s Plans and Specifications, obtaining/analyzing construction pricing, and organizing bids to present for review and approval.
  • Works with Interior designer to purchase and follow up with vendors
  • Oversees the purchasing of all materials and labor outside Acero and works directly with vendors to ensure that they deliver a product within specifications and on time
  • Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
  • Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
  • Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
  • Understands the project plans, specifications.
  • Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
  • Prepares, schedules and supervises completion of a final punch list.
  • Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
  • Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policies.
  • Maintains an organized job site, including the construction office.

Experience and Skills:

Experience and Skills:

  • BS degree in Architecture or Engineering with study concentration in construction management
  • Three plus years of successful Project Management/Expediting experience in commercial construction.
  • Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of commercial construction.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects

  • Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality.
  • Very organized with a systematic approach to tasks to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.
